Services Offered at Our Ontario Clinic

Our services in Ontario are primarily offered virtually, with the exception of occasional in-person appointments on a care-by-care basis. We offer the following professional psychology services for a variety of needs and circumstances:

Muhammad Umar, MACP., C.Psych. (he/him)

Muhammad Umar is a Registered Psychologist in the provinces of Alberta and Ontario and the Director of MIND-TRACT Psychology. He has also worked as Registered Social Worker in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Alberta. He has been working in the field of social work and mental health since 2013 in various roles. Muhammad specializes in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma/PTSD, and various psychological assessments. 


With evidence-based clinical expertise and genuine care, he serves youth and adults with an array of mental, emotional, social, and behavioural issues. His aim in therapy is to empower his clients by empathically listening to their presenting issues/problems and providing them with evidence-based strategies to help resolve those issues.

Parmpreet Sandhu, BSW., MSW., RSW. (she/her)

Parmpreet Sandhu is a registered social worker in Alberta and Ontario. She has completed her Master of Social Work from University of Toronto. As a mental health therapist, Parmpreet specializes in working with children and families experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, post-migration stressors, parent-child conflict, parental alienation, child welfare involvement, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, anger and stress management. She utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities such as Narrative therapy, Reunification Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness and play therapy from a strengths-based, anti-oppressive and trauma informed lens. 


Parmpreet strongly believes that therapeutic practices should be catered to the unique needs of clients. She actively makes efforts to bring a holistic and a culturally sensitive approach into her therapeutic space while affirming diverse lived experiences and identities. She hopes to work with clients to support their goals and healing through resilience building, compassion, and empathy in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
